Easter Family Activities
Join us this Easter at Berwick Museum & Art Gallery and Paxton House for a selection of fun-filled family activites.
These hour-long workshops are designed to be fun, hands-on sessions aimed at people aged 7+ (no upper age limit!). We encourage all family members to come along and engage with the inspirational local stories of civil engineering, botanical painting, or water-themed music. Parental collaboration is required!
Our workshops at Berwick Museum & Art Gallery are completely free however normal admission prices into the venue still apply. Workshops at Paxton are bookable directly with Paxton House and do include a small charge to cover their costs as well as the usual admission price.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential. Read on to find out more and click on the dates to book.

Building Investigation Workshop @Paxton House
Get involved in an exciting session of bridge & boat building! Explore and get creative through exercises and investigating.
Water Music @Paxton House
Explore how music has been shaped by water. Come along to learn how other people have used rivers and oceans to be creative and perhaps be inspired yourself. Be prepared to make sound, to move and to listen. No equipment or prior knowledge required, but if you play a musical instrument do bring it along.
Stargazing @Paxton House *weather dependent*
Come along to Paxton House at nightfall and view the sky. If it is clear, we will join up the constellations, learn how to navigate using the North star, and view the Moon through binoculars.
Please note: in the case of wet or cloudy weather, we will not be able to stargaze outside. Instead, we will simulate the sky indoors using computer software.
Dates: Tue 12th April @8pm
