We work alongside local people and community groups to ensure the Union Chain Bridge project reflects the needs and interests of people locally. To achieve this, we need the support of volunteers across all aspects of the project.
Volunteering is a great way to share your skills and knowledge, or you might want to volunteer to learn new things. It can be an opportunity to meet new people, get engaged and keep active, while also giving something back your community.

We are currently recruiting archive research volunteers to help us uncover untold Union Chain Bridge stories.
The archival research project will be kick-started with valuable training from an internationally respected heritage and archaeology organisation and anyone who volunteers to be involved will be supported by the UCB project team throughout.
